Saint Paul Vocational and Industrial High School traces its legal establishment to Batas Pambansa Blg. 579, approved on June 24, 1983. The law converted Auitan Barangay High School in the Municipality of San Pablo, Province of Isabela, into a vocational and industrial high school to be known as St. Paul Vocational and Industrial High School. Its operation and maintenance for the current fiscal year were to continue from local funds and its share of national aid to local schools, while succeeding requirements were to be provided in future General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval on June 24, 1983.
